05.06.08 - Server move, some changes and problems...
Last weekend the Denora stuff (website, svn repos, project management etc.) was moved to a new server. Since then, our SVN urls have changed. And, since then, our project management system refuses to start. I hope to fix the problem soon. Sorry for the inconvenience!

16.05.08 - Denora 1.4.0 released!
Yes. Oh, yes... It's there. Over two years and 9 months after the last stable release, we now finally set the next major version in the wild: Denora 1.4.0! There have been hundreds of changes, improvements and fixes. We believe Denora 1.4 will bring you a more reliable and satisfying experience.
Denora 1.4 comes with support for most of current major ircd stable releases out there, including the popular Unreal 3.2 and the rapidly growing Inspircd 1.1 series. A release for Windows will follow in a couple of weeks, since we need to sort some problems out first. Please read the README and doc/INSTALL files for instructions on how to install/upgrade.
Special thanks go to all the people involved in giving feedback, reporting bugs, and testing. The Denora project is now committed on releasing minor 1.4.x versions as long as improvements are made.
We hope you'll enjoy this shiny new release!
By the way, we need C coders! If you are familiar with Anope or Denora, and of course with C coding, we would really appreciate you joining our developer team to help Denora grow faster! Just drop me an email: hal9000 (at) denorastats (dot) org. Thanks!

07.02.08 - New Project Management System
We are pleased to announce that we switched our project management system to Redmine. Instead of having separate applications such as Mantis, WebSVN, SMF, MediaWiki we now have a single application which contains everything out of the box and allows us to better manage our projects.
The new system is available at dev.denorastats.org. We migrated all the data from Mantis, along with user login data, but for technical reasons we had to generate new passwords for all the users. If you were registered to our old bug tracker, you should get an email shortly containing your new, randomly generated password.
As far as our old forum goes, we could not import it, so if you don't have a bug tracker user you should register to get one.
We hope you will love the new system as much as we do.

29.01.08 - Denora 1.4.0 RC2 released!
Roll the drums... here comes a new Denora release!
As you may have noticed, things didn't go by plan since our RC1 release back in August. Basically having got stuck due to a nasty bug that affects SQL usage on Windows, we wanted to wait to fix it before releasing the new stable version of Denora. The bad news is we didn't manage to fix Denora on Win32+SQL, the good news is that we fixed tons of bugs and improved IRCd support dramatically since RC1, especially for InspIRCd 1.1 and P10-based IRCds. We would like to thank all those involved in testing and bug reporting, you have been of great help to us!
So here comes Denora 1.4.0 RC2, which should run really well on *nix systems. We're confident that you will like this new release!
As we are at it we would like some help from you: if you got an idea on how we can make Denora work on Windows again with SQL, then go ahead and add a comment to bug #435 in the Bug Tracker. We will really appreciate that. Basically, the issue we are having is that Denora crashes while trying to printf SQL queries past a certain size, even though our code conforms to ANSI and C specs. Please, help us get this fixed :)
We really encourage all users to upgrade to Denora 1.4.0 RC2 and let us know if you encounter any problems via the Bug Tracker.
Please follow the up-to-date install/upgrade instructions in our WIKI to ensure you do everything right!
